How much does it cost for suppliers?
FolkAir's Free plan is £0 a month — the marketplace listing, Companies House verification, the pricing engine with instant estimates, real-time messaging and event-ops tooling, at no monthly cost. FolkAir makes money one way: a single flat 12% commission on confirmed bookings, the same 12% on every plan, Free included. You only pay it when you actually win a booking. Paid tiers buy tools and placement, not a lower rate. No per-lead charges, ever. Any change to subscription or commission for an existing account is published in writing with six months' notice first.
How much does it cost for venues?
Venues list on the Free plan at £0 a month — claim and verify your venue (Companies House + KYC), configure spaces and pricing for instant estimates, message organisers in real time, and plan layouts with the built-in floorplan editor. FolkAir charges one flat 12% commission only when a booking confirms, the same 12% on every plan including Free; you only pay it when you win. Planned Growth and Business tiers add featured placement once billing goes live — they buy placement, not a lower rate. No per-lead charge, no lock-in. Any change to subscription or commission for an existing account is published in writing with six months' notice first.

Event organisers search across map, grid and list views by category and location, and FolkAir surfaces recommended matches for your event. You can browse verified supplier and venue profiles, read aggregated reviews, see an instant pricing estimate from each supplier's configured rates, and message them in real time before you commit.
