# FolkAir

> FolkAir is the UK events marketplace. It connects event organisers with Companies-House-verified suppliers and venues, and pairs the marketplace with the operations software to run the booking: a configurable pricing engine with instant estimates, real-time messaging, and event-ops tooling with a floorplan editor.

## Key facts

- UK-only by design: GBP-priced and integrated with Companies House, the UK business register, for supplier and venue verification.
- Free to list: the Free plan is £0/month for suppliers and venues.
- One flat 12% commission on confirmed bookings — the same 12% on every plan, Free included. You only pay when you win a booking.
- No per-lead charges, no per-credit fees, no pay-to-appear, no annual lock-in.
- Paid subscription tiers buy tools and placement, never a lower commission rate.
- Integrated card payments (Stripe Connect) are on the roadmap, not yet live; until they ship, suppliers/venues and their customers arrange payment directly.

- Event organisers: discover and book bands, DJs, caterers, photographers, marquee and equipment hire, wedding venues, festival spaces, conference centres and more — across map, grid and list views.
- Suppliers: a search-indexed verified profile, instant pricing estimates from your own rate plans, real-time enquiries, and event-ops tooling.
- Venues: claim and verify your venue, configure spaces and pricing, message organisers in real time, and plan layouts with the built-in floorplan editor.
